Watch Brian Blessed be Fantastical in ‘Mr Bojagi’

Note: ‘Mr Bojagi’ has now finished its short but very successful run on Daily Motion but you can still scroll down to watch me talk about the process of scoring the film and watch some other behind-the-scenes interviews with Brian and the rest of the cast and crew here.

Brian Blessed stars in the fabulous, award-winning, fantasy-scifi short, Mr Bojagi, launched last Friday (17 May 2010) on Daily Motion.

I had a ridiculous amount of fun composing the musical score and sound designing this short, not least because of Mr Blessed’s performance, but also because of the script by Kat Wood and direction by Marco van Belle. Plus it just looks gorgeous! Lovely work chaps. 🙂

Below is a short documentary about the process of scoring and sound designing Mr Bojagi in one of the bonus movies that show behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with cast and crew accompanying the film, where the Marco (the director) and I talk about how the tone of the first draft of the score wasn’t on the right track (tut tut!) and that the second draft was all the better for having gone through that version to the final music draft that you here with the movie.

The short film itself is actually a scene from a feature-length script, and I reeeeeallly want to score it, so if you’d like to give us a hand and show your support, head on over to Daily Motion and watch Mr Bojagi (along with the other 20,000+ viewers to date, awesome!), and maybe the feature will be more likely to be made!

If you’d like to know more, go visit the Facebook Group and the film’s Official Website.

Update: The film got over 25, 000 views on Daily Motion! Awesooome!

I would love to see the film but it is no longer available. Do you know where else I can watch it?
