It’s Sunday so I’m gonna keep this short and sweet :-)

SCOREcast is a podcast series that I’ve just recently discovered, started by Deane Ogden, a fabulous film composer from LA that I recently became twitter-friends with. Why not follow him too: @deaneogdenmusic; and Scorecast is also on twitter as @scorecastonline.

It’s been going since 2006 (I think) as a resource for film composers at any and all stages of their careers. I’m downloading their entire back catalogue now! Search for ’scorecast’ on iTunes and you’ll find them too.

It’s free – what more incentive do you need? ;-)

SCOREcast will soon be launching their brand new website as a portal/hub for any and all of us in the film music business. Listen to the podcast to learn more. In the meantime, you can join the SCOREcast Facebook group and get started on the discussion.

Plus I’m a guest on one of their upcoming podcasts about useful websites for emerging composers. My calm tone belies the ridiculous amount of excitement I feel about being asked to contribute.

Go – download and listen! Let me know what you think!
