As promised in my last post, here’s some news about my latest project, the Requiem for Beyond the Front Line.
It’s actually probably better to describe it as a Requiemetta, putting to music five verses of the many-more that are usually part of a Requiem.
The most exciting part about this project for me is that the score will be sung by a live choir and recorded. I can’t flippin’ wait.
I’ll be honest too – I’m using more than a few techniques from my Composers Tips and Tricks series.
I’m on to movement three. Deadline’s next Thursday. Best get a move on
